Kinuko Craft may sound like a what but it is actually a person.
Kinuko Y. Craft is a Japanese artist who specializes in fantasy paintings with a classical look. She has created artwork for many books, childrens books and opera posters.
Over the years her work has been likened to many of the art greats as it posesses that fine art classical look and feel. She combines watercolour and oils in much of her work to create that historical look.
Today is the first time I'd heard of Kinuko Craft and as soon as I saw her paintings I felt I was seeing something with such a rare quality that I had to share my discovery with you good people, which is exactly what this blog should be about.
